Maybe the Islam has the biggest problem with modern photography; I am glad about all the human beings coming from this cultural box, who use a camera – or even join flickr.

Yesterday I saw a Muslima with a veil – and we smiled to each other, because she noticed, that I noticed, that under her veil a handy-phone was pressed to the ear; after smiling she continued talking.

I hope, modern technologies will help to transport liberty into those cultural boxes step by step …

Vielleicht hat der fundamentalistische Islam die größten Probleme mit der modernen liberalen Fotografie. Seltsamerweise ist Sexualität und deren Begrenzung, Schadensbegrenzung (?), ein Hauptthema vieler Religionen, natürlich auch des Christentums. Man denkt immer: Religionen kümmern sich um ihren Gott. Nein, sie kümmern sich naseweis um die (Hetero-)Sexualität ihrer Mitglieder. Bei Homosexualität in den eigenen Reihen neigt man allerdings eher zum Vertuschen und Vergeben.
