A-Z Archive: P! challenge

Tuesday’s photo challenge: the letter “P”: THE POLAROID PHOTOGRAPHER:

photo by frizztext, click on the image to enter his flickr galleries; comment: portrait-photographer in “Little Odessa”, New York: Coney Island; caught in a Russian dancing bar in Brighton Beach – comment by mezze = Annet Planten: oh yes, the polaroid-men … I knew one in Amsterdam, cruising the restaurants at night, sometimes bingo, most times not… That’s a hard way to earn some money (and besides: Polaroid-film is expensive and no longer easy to get). But maybe it’s better than selling roses?
This week’s topic for our A-Z ARCHIVE Tuesday’s photo challenge: the letter “P”: introduce one photo of your own archive with an “P” keyword for example POLAROID PHOTOGRAPHER (like me) or PYGMEE tribes, Pakistan or Pepsi Cola, Perfume or Poetry, Pavilions or Pontiacs, Painters or Peanuts, Penguins or Pirates, Police or Pain, Prayers or Politics, about Putin or the Pantheon, Picnics or Paths, about the term PARADOX or PASSION, Peacocks or Paragliding, Possessions or Phones, Pressure or Paris etc. – get some inspirations via my “P”-Photo-Archive at https://flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2012/03/22/the-p-photo-archive/ – I’m sure you’ll find a picture in your own shoe boxes to scan – tag with “A-Z Archive” and put a link on your page to my site, so we’ll get a trackback-list including your post!

  2. Great choice for ‘P’, Frizz. I have a few old polorioid shots of my own laying around in the shoeboxes among other old photographs. What a blast from the past. 🙂

  30. always love the polaroids 🙂

  31. I remember my uncle, eight years younger than my mother, graduating from college and getting a gift of a polaroid camera–not at large as this one, however! We took a long trip to see many relatives and sites in several states in the Upper South (USA) and the lower Midwest with this uncle (with my grandmother, mother, myself, and my little brother);and he took Polaroid shots by the basketful!
