In Germany today is Vatertag = Father’s Day. What would be fine, if a father would be able to give it to us? Money, a house, a car, a gun? Some chromosomes for thinking, good memory, empathy, good rites of friendship? Power, not anxiety? Courage? I’m always amused by the “man on a horse”-series of Eduardo Amorim. Though myself: If a horse wasn’t calm, following my will: then I often fell down to the ground. An armchair, is what I prefer.

Hi,
Happy Father’s Day, and I like the photo you chose as well, and I agree, an armchair sounds good to me as well. 🙂

Believe it or not, Frizz, my own father actually rode a horse much like this in my childhood days. He set quite a profile against the sky in the eyes of his adoring young daughter, he did!

congrats to such a father, Rose! My father was a baker and he rode early in the morning only his bicycle to bring the warm bread (German: Brötchen, Semmeln, Schrippen) to the houses …
