Phoneography Challenge: My Neighborhood
by frizztext
Cheri Lucas at dailypost writes: “…grab your phone and head out the door. That’s right — get on your feet and go outside to explore — and document — where you live. I want to see your neighborhood: The path you take for your daily morning run. Your local coffee shop or dive bar….” – so here it is, my neighborhood:

I like the Brueghel revisited shot. What were they doing?
skiing, using a lift which pulls them uphill … – my cat said: “absurd…”
Very nice… I love the bright colors of your neighborhood.

It is a pleasure to see where you live, and this is quite an assembly of images. Very colorful and beautiful.
dear Shimon,
in this town we found a weeping old couple, visiting an holocaust exhibition, they had managed to escape the Third Reich 1940, came back now (1995), standing outside of the house they once owned, no one wanted to let them in, sadly they followed us, at first strangers, then friends. We sang, because they wished, old German folk songs – and they said: we ARE Germans but no one will accept that, they say: they are Jews; sadly they went back to USA …
Thanks for the ping! (I’m still trying to figure out how to do that! #newbie )
