Weekly Photo Challenge: SEA

I like to sit in a café watching the sea [notice the sailship there], waiting for the fishermen to bring some fish…
JazzCafe METEOR
…and the owner was kind enough to put my own guitar music CD in his player – that was great: my music floating over the sea! Below: this café from outside, early in the morning:
3 dogs begging
Jazz Café METEOR in Oia / Santorini / Greece; 3 dogs begging for coffee, the lady walks ignoring them, the donkey in the background is doing his daily duty, carrying loads uphill, the man on the balcony is longing for a trip over the sea – … a usual early morning street scene – 6:47

  23. I would like to have the same window… Your first picture remembers me a famous painting of an american artist. I’m sure you’ll find it. And this morning, I was just staring at the sky, looking at the clouds, thinking they were just above the sea a few hours ago.

    • dear Garth,
the dogs are independent – mostly the owners, entering the isle, once lost their pets – and since then they have to live for their own, supported by some other dogs, knowing the situation on the street very well – where to beg for food, where to drink (donkey station) etc. – one of them followed us daily, was at night the guardian of our door – and tried to follow us to the airport, when we had to leave – we had to shed some tears then …
