In my focus of potential winners of this year’s OSCAR award: The King’s Speech. I am still surprised, that a movie document of how talking is a good therapy is top ranking. But I am glad about the fact, that talking and listening – like in the King’s Speech – even fear or overwhelming fear are noticed as important experiences.

As we predicted, it won and then some… imagine that the director’s mom sold him on the story… lucky devil 🙂

Thanks for posting this.
This movie, in contrast to a majority of main stream movies, took life and flight in the hands of a truly great writer. And of course, the director and editor guided and shaped the film into an insightful, tension filled screen play. The overall effect was to depict the interior life of a man who struggled for self mastery and a greater purpose than his own pleasure or pride.
I am so amazed that this well-crafted work received popular acclaim.
