Albert Camus 100

Albert Camus would have his 100th anniversary today, born on the 7th November 1913. His philosophy is very individualistic, unlike that of Jean-Paul Sarte (who fought scruffy vs. Camus). Existentialism was represented by notable personalities, by Henri Bergson, Albert Camus and the German Karl Jaspers. An embarrassing role played Martin Heidegger: adoring the Third Reich of the Nazi racism. So in my eyes Camus is even more the most admirable character in the struggle of individualism against the idiocies of communism and fascism.
