The Church Cat

When I saw the grave stone “THE CHURCH CAT 1912-1927”, my heart was touched. Thanks to the photographer “iyers” that he sent his photo (St Mary Redcliffe Church, Bristol) to my group Blog IT! Click on the picture to enter his galleries at flickr. This finding made me remember “ELEANOR RIGBY”, the BEATLES ballad. Some say it’s about a chicken, other say it’s about an old woman. For me it is a flashback to my mother, she went every day to the church nearby. She made suicide. When I sing the song, I’m thinking of her…
