The social gap in all countries of the world is increasing. In my photo group “BLOG IT” I often discover amusing picture documents related to this topic. 1946, after World War II when I was 1 year old, old buses as replacement for bombed houses were in use in my hometown Wuppertal. I have since out-developed me, but I will not bring it in this life to a castle.

David Haggard comments: “Disabled buses that have littered the streets of Tokyo are used to help relieve the acute housing shortage in the Japanese capital on October 2, 1946. Homeless Japanese who hauled the buses into a vacant lot are converting them into homes for their families. (AP Photo/Charles Gorry)”
