The famous US-blogger Elizabeth Obih-Frank wrote: “Unlike in the publishing world, where the powers that be control what sees the light of day and what gets relegated to the wastebasket, a blogger can find a core group of like-minded souls with similar interests, and blog away knowing that the audience they seek is there to encourage them… “

Yes. What to add to Elizabeth Obih-Frank? When I look back after nearly a year of blogging, I notice, that after eleven months now I like much more to read daily wordpress blog posts around the world than my silly local newspaper-products a year before … I’ve canceled the local newspapers – at least I’ve earned the money I do not spend anymore for newspapers, printed color magazines, many books, DVD-movie sellers (amazon) etc. – even to watch television seems to get more and more boring: because I can’t interact. Blogging opens the door to a new kind of interactive (global!) democracy …
