When the Berlin Wall fell 1989, it became a symbol for liberty, and that it is possible to join East and West without any blood shed, ignoring the “Iron Curtain“, ignoring all the military, waiting brainless to act. A peaceful revolution. In a happiness state of mind artists from all over the world made the Berlin Wall colorful. I often shot photos there (watch below). But actually they are destroying the so called “East Side Gallery“, because some architects need space for some tall hotels etc. – the usual: police comes to block political protesters.
