The Threat

If I paint something, it has always a metaphorical meaning to me. The whale shark in contrast to the tiny human diver: My life started badly: A couple fetched me out of an orphanage (1947) only to beat me daily as “unworthy” life (a racist term in Nazi Germany). That’s the reason why I watched till now (I’m aged 70 soon) corporal punishment in families (Germany, Turkey, China, USA) – or much worse violence vs. women (in India, Arabia, Africa).
