Soy beans from a single farmer in Bienenbüttel / Bienenbuettel are now suspected to be responsible for the outbreak of the EHEC-epidemic in Germany. The soy beans were found in a horticultural holding in the little village near Uelzen. The company had supplied the restaurant KARTOFFELKELLER in Lübeck, where several people had been infected. But the cause may just as well by the watering procedure of those soy beans. Also might be caused by an employee – the gardener was infected by the EHEC bacterium before. Der Betrieb hatte das Restaurant KARTOFFELKELLER in Lübeck beliefert, wo sich verschiedene Menschen infiziert hatten. Die Ursache kann aber auch genausogut durch den Bewässerungsvorgang bei der Bohnen-Sprossen-Aufzucht verursacht sein – oder auch herrühren von einer Mitarbeiterin, die vom EHEC-Bakterium infiziert ist. Die wissenschaftlichen Labors untersuchen noch fieberhaft. Die Warnung vor dem Verzehr von Gurken, Salat oder Tomaten ist aber auch noch nicht zurückgenommen worden …
