Xanthippe

A dog man, who likes philosophy, often has to suffer under his cat-beast wife and her reality checks; neighbors call her Xanthippe (after wife of Socrates, c. 5 BCE, who has been portrayed as a nagging, quarrelsome, ill-tempered shrew).
