It is certainly a terrible experience, to become the victim of any disaster. But the human psyche (reason: the need for a stable motivation of survival) can somehow filter out a strictly positive extract of the whole thing. The result was (perhaps by a philosophical dialogue with my e-mail partner Wolfgang Hermann in Austria) that statement on the benefits of reducing the property as an opportunity, with the minimalist essence to begin new again. The camera was clearly not a victim of the flooding of the property. How long it still needs to overcome the psychological terror of such an event, dream logs can show. Currently our minds depend again magnetically to the reports from the major floods currently in Queensland in northeast Australia…

Es ist sicherlich ein schreckliches Erlebnis, das Opfer irgendeines Geschehens geworden zu sein. Der menschlichen Psyche aber ist es eigen (der stabilen Motivation des Weiterlebens zuliebe), sich irgendwie noch einen positiven Extrakt aus der ganzen Sache herauszufiltern. Aktuell hängt man jedoch wieder wie magnetisch an den Berichten von den großen Überschwemmungen derzeit in Queensland im Nordosten Australiens. So schlimm kann es in Österreich wohl nicht kommen – rein quantitativ (in Holland schon).
