The Prescribed Happiness

I played guitar. Then I begged my friend Luzz to add some more instruments. Hear the orchestra of joy! Maybe my friend wanted to demonstrate with his addition, which I as a philosopher always use to call “the prescribed happiness” (Adorno). Music has sometimes this embarrassing task of manipulation. So military music or music in the churches sometimes starts in a philosopher’s state of mind even reflexes of pacifism or atheism.
