Song About My Father

Fossil60 from Australia inspired me to write lyrics for his music with the title WHO’S YOUR DADDY?
my lyrics: Who was my Daddy? I’ll tell you all :// He was a baker brought bread rolls every morning
cake, marmalade and chocolate too…

verse 1: Who was my Daddy? I’ll tell you all ://
He was a baker brought bread rolls every morning
cake, marmalade and chocolate too
He gave me to an orphanage 1945
just after my birth, after my birth.
chorus:
It took me 40 years to find this guy.
At first I was very sad but learned to love him step by step.
Oh his energy got in my bones
& in my daughters’ & grandkids too!
verse 2:
My daddy liked to drive fast cars.
He was a parachutist & trainer of a female soccer team.
My daddy loved the women & had some illegal girlfriends too.
chorus
verse 3:
My daddy gave no bread to his son.
My daddy gave no robes to his son.
But then he brought me shoes to dance.
But then he brought me wings to fly…

  5. Beautiful song, Frizz. I’m so happy that you found your dad at last, and have made peace with one another, and that you and your family have grown to love him. “Shoes to dance” sounds perfect.🙂
