Letting go, is the hardest thing for us humans. I blame my reptile brain, the ancient part of my being that thinks it’s protecting me by hanging on to EVERY upsetting experience. ‘Give up and you will succeed’ as old Lao Tzu is said to have said. It’s worth trying at least.
Those delapedated old farm houses are very much a part of the rural Canadian landscape. Sometimes it is nice to reminisce. It is like forgiving but not forgetting.
