Maps Metaphor

NIETZSCHE: “To find a metaphor is to find a new thought”: Mathematics or literature are systems of understanding. Just like music, painting, creating engineering plans or geographic maps. The most important system of understanding was for me (even ranking high above medicine): psychology, psychoanalysis: All those maps recording aggression or lust, the underground lakes of fears or the hot spots of creativity.
