But I’ve written about Cervantes from time to time, for example:
“The Spanish legendary author Miguel de Cervantes wrote his story about Don Quixote and his servant Sancho Panza, the master of doubts. And mainly his book was about the importance of DOUBT. Cervantes knew: it could be dangerous, to fight as a hero without any doubts – that is his everlasting message. He was the forerunner of all people, who are warning, that individuals, communities or systems sometimes live a complete lie – and therefore will meet their catastrophe in their very end…” etc. more at https://flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2011/09/30/weekly-photo-challenge-sunset/

Dear Didier, imagine, you would be an activist against the bullfight in Spain (I know you are) – actually I’m discussing with a musician in Bogota, who plays American jazz music, who wonders, that the people in Bogota don’t like his music: “…maybe that are your memories you carry inside after you studied in the USA? Like a wrong dress to a certain lunch invitation? I’m thinking of Rita Banerji, who studied in the USA and now tries to fight for human rights in Calcutta – but the conditions for such an aim are strange. The horizons we are carrying inside our soul. Believe me, American blues music wasn’t what people liked to hear in Germany after the WW II. But nevertheless, it was the treasure in my soul, I tried to protect all my life …”

I’m not sure they don’t like his music….Maybe they find it not appropriate for today, they don’t understand it. I can’t say I don’t love something totally because behind that, there’s often an artist, not a robot made by a major company (….they are working on it :p ). That’s why I created a small site (histozic) to speak about all musics, to explain sometimes what’s behind. And often, i’m feeling like a Don Quixote fighting against windmill
And we were speaking of Cervantes 😀
