The Violin

I’m very happy that a violinist from The Netherlands, Oorlab (Dick Vestdijk), added his talent to one of my tracks of my Gypsy swing project GITANE FRITS:

My friend Andrey Shilov writes: The title of the composition is “Dorogoy dlinnoyu” which means “By a long road…” or the English version is “Those were the days”. The author of the music is Boris Fomin – a great musician who was hated by Stalinists.

  1. Love this, Frizz. I remember when Mary Hopkins won the Eurovision Song Contest with this song. 🙂
