Tuesday’s A to Z challenge: “M”
Event Type: General Blogging
Start Date: Tuesdays, recurring weekly
Description: Every Tuesday I offer the “A to Z challenge”, walking step by step through the alphabet.

Last week we had the “tagged L”-challenge, so this week we’ll create a new turn with “M” – I’m sure you’ll also find a photo, a story or a music title tagged with “M”! Feel free to add in the comments below the link to your personal interpretation of the letter “M”!!! Myself I’ll focus on the “Midnight Special”:
MIDNIGHT SPECIAL
The old blues music was inspired by the rhythm of the trains …

an amusing mascots report, Francine! We don’t have it here, only a goat is a well known mascot from a (very bad) soccer team in Cologne.

With M being tagged, I had to write on this topic: http://collinesblog.wordpress.com/2014/04/01/motherhood/

” Motherhood has not always been easy: interrupted nights, decisions to be taken, sacrifices to be made. But would I give it up? No, I would not…” we agree, Colline, our daughters are aged 40 now and it’s still pure fun to support their life – and watch how they are mothers…

I like your version of the Midnight Special. Every artist does a song to their own style. You have a very bluesy style in this one.
Johnny Cash used to sing a lot about trains …

I had to reblog this, Issy, the PENTATONIX video = evolution of music is great! my wife Barbara said, she is missing J.S.Bach – but was satisfied, when she heard Barbara Ann by the Beach Boys. I’ll try to play myself, what I’m missing on the video, some New Orleans jazz evergreens and (today) more Beatles’ compositions

that was a large sized history lesson, Tish. Sometimes I’m ashamed to be a German with a Kaiser Wilhelm on the backpack. But actually Putin is the one, who divides a land, to get a part for his own… there was a comparison to Hitler in the media (my friends in West Ukraine had the term too) – but I think that’s not correct at all – history is a thing, always running forward…
