Jack’n Jill

I adore the creative poet “ideflex”, now I sang one of his poems:

the lyrics, written by IDEFLEX for my weekly “A to Z” challenge:
———————
JACK AND JILL
———————
I. – A1
Jack and Jill,
are hipsters still
drink mason
Jars of water
B2
Jack Jives by night
his band’s delight
Jill dreams
of being a potter
CCCCCC3
Jack’s day Job sucks
roundabout he mucks
writing Jingles
down on paper
D4
Jumbled days slide by
with lone Jailbird sigh
yet still he is
a Japer
—————————
II. – A5
Jill dreads the morn
John Barleycorn
Jack’s friends are
Just so Jerky
B6
in skinny Jeans faded
vintage closet raided
they ate all
her tofurkey
CCCCCC7
Jack pops Jam cakes
Jill lovingly bakes
vegan to keep
to keep her figure
D8
an idea Jolts bright
Joyful time is right
the market even
even bigger
—————————-
III. – A9
Jack and Jill
quite fit the bill
Jolly in a big
Joint venture
B10
now Judge and Jury
in capitalist fury
they’ve secured a
fair-trade debenture
CCCCCC3
Jack’s day Job sucks
roundabout he mucks
writing Jingles
down on paper
D4
Jumbled days slide by
with lone Jailbird sigh
yet still he is
a Japer, a Japer
——————–
IV. – A5
Jill dreads the morn
John Barleycorn
Jack’s friends are
Just so Jerky
B6
in skinny Jeans faded
vintage closet raided
they ate all
her tofurkey
CCCCCC7
Jack pops Jam cakes
Jill lovingly bakes
vegan to keep
to keep her figure
D4
Jumbled days slide by
with lone Jailbird sigh
yet still he is
a Japer, a Japer
