“Back to the roots” – a slogan of a movement in US especially from black people, but it was also important for me exploring my origins: I was given 3 days after birth into an orphanage and it took me 40 years to find my parents. For me as a musician it is also a challenge to forget the overwhelming modern stage shows, finding back to the roots of blues music. Blues is my state of mind.
