I like to work for my weekly (every Tuesday updated) “A to Z” challenge (currently: letter F) – but several letters are already scheduled. Considering what to use for “Y” (yellow is too easy) I decided to learn the ragtime blues “The Duck’s Yas-Yas-Yas” as described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Duck’s_Yas-Yas-Yas – I hope you like my continuing tribute to the black music of the twenties, played on my metal Dobro (resonator) guitar (thanks to my friend Luzz, who added chromatic harp and double bass):

you can read at wikipedia: “The Duck’s Yas Yas Yas” is a hokum jazz-blues song, originally recorded by James “Stump” Johnson, but the most well known version was recorded by Oliver Cobb and his Rhythm Kings. … “The Duck’s Yas Yas Yas” was originally recorded in the origin of St. Louis by pianist James “Stump” Johnson in late 1928 or January 1929. He recorded the tune at least three times in his career. Blues singer Tampa Red and Thomas A. Dorsey also recorded a version on May 13, 1929.
