If I could choose

If I could choose, I would not spend New Year in the turbulence of a city, but retired to the country. With a bit of guitar-playing, storytelling, drinking and eating we would make ends meet.

  1. the best christmas and new year I spent were often far of the big cities, far from all these ads, commercial things. I don’t need champagne but only a nice moment to thing about life with a good vegan meal with my wife.

  6. Happy New Year Frizz! We usually spend our New Year’s in a quiet, island cabin but this year we will be at home in the city. Both can be nice. 🙂

Ich wünsche dir einen guten Rutsch in ein frohes Jahr 2014, egal wo du grad bist! Ich hab für dieses Silvester die deutsche Großstadt hinter mir gelassen und bin in Belgien irgendwo im Wald gelandet 🙂

  10. We have done exactly that. We live in the middle of nowhere. My husband is retired, and I work part time. So far, we have been able to make ends meet. We plan to celebrate a quiet but happy New Year. Best wishes to you!

Dig that photo man…reminds me of where we just were, a German-themed village in Eastern Washington called Leavenworth. Happy new year friend!

  12. I’d retire there in a New York Minute (to quote Don Henley). The best for a happy, healthy new year, frizz.
