TUESDAY’S A TO Z CHALLENGE

Event Type: General Blogging

Start Date: Tuesdays, recurring weekly

Description: Every Tuesday I offer the A to Z challenge walking step by step through the alphabet.
+
Every Tuesday, step by step, I’m walking with my readers from A to Z, last week we had the “xxx”-challenge, so this week we’ll take “Y” – I’m sure you’ll also find a photo, a story or a music title tagged with “Y”! Feel free to add in the comments below the link to your personal interpretation of the letter “Y”!!! Myself I’ll focus on the topic “Yamaha keyboards”:

YAMAHA

YAMAHA
a very talented friend of mine was kind enough to follow one of my wishes: to play his YAMAHA piano while I tried to follow him strumming my guitar; bass line was added in his recording studio …

another example, created when we met for a second song, working on my idea, to play GEORGIA ON MY MIND much faster than usual. I thought, that my guitar would be faster than a formula 1 car – but he was much faster on his Yamaha keyboards:

P.S.:
Unfortunately, our next challenge [letter “Z”] is exactly on December 24th – maybe you use the schedules-function of wordpress? Next round of “A to Z challenges” will start on January 7th “tagged A”!

  1. ALways enjoy your music, Frizz. Glad your finger is healed so you can play. Isn’t there a YAMAHA motor bike as well?

    • hi Ruth,
I suppose, there are more people driving a Yamaha vehicle than playing a Yamaha music instrument – I think that’s sad. Not enough people have the time (or talent) to make music.
      P.S.:
yes I’m glad, my fingers are working again!

    • hi Myra,
      your “…husband is quite artistic,
and his inclination towards arts and crafts
      become even more manifest
      during Christmas season…”
      P.S.:
      for many of us a challenge;
my wife is decorating our rooms
      awaiting grandchildren coming soon
      – and me, I’m forced to learn again
some old Xmas songs on my guitar…

Now for Yakkety Axe…one of my favourite guitar pieces, however I have never heard the lyrics before. Absolutely Adorable!
