Every Tuesday, step by step, I’m walking with my readers from A to Z, last week we had the “K”-challenge, so this week we’ll take “L” – I’m sure you’ll also find a a photo, a story or a music title tagged with “L”! Feel free to add in the comments below the link to your personal interpretation of the letter “L”!!! Myself I’ll focus on the topic “library”:
LIBRARY
photo below: my wife Barbara in the Public Library in Manhattan, 42nd Street – shot by frizztext
comment by Isadora, New York at flickrcomments – 2013/03/19: “My hubby and I used to go to Manhattan in New York to visit the huge library they have there as our date since we didn’t have any money to go anywhere costly. A blessing for us that we both love books and enjoyed reading across the table from each other. Young love … so simple…”
Hi Frizz! The library is my second home. Great pic here. 🙂
My contribution this week: Leaves. 🙂

I once read about a child, aged 4, starting to cry tears, because the kid watched leaves falling down to the ground from a tree…

Oh I LOVE this–to me, libraries have been a magical world all their own since I was in elementary school. It was my favorite job, as an adult–but as if being set free in a candy shop, I wanted to taste every book!!!

1. happy birthday to the most talented poet I met in the internet!
2. I’m glad, though you’ve changed your name, you didn’t change your talent:
“Near Looking Glass Lake, on Loganberry Lane, ‘mid linden trees and lilacs, lilies and larkspur, there sits the Lyric Library. You’ll find within its labyrinthine stacks, Miss Lucretia—from Louisiana…”. etc.!

The 42nd St. Library, one of the greatest. I would go there to study and fall into some sort of dream state – although I suppose I fell into a dream state in many locations. But the library was the best.

I have to confess that I do all my researching and borrowing online these days. Have not been to a bonafide library in years, even our neighborhood one, which, I must tell you, is quite pretty with its Spanish architecture. I know. It’s embarrassing.
