iii-challenge

A-Z Archive
Every Tuesday, step by step, I’m walking with my readers from A to Z, last week we had the “HHH”-challenge, so this week we’ll take “i” – I’m sure you’ll also find a a photo, a story or a music title tagged with “i”! Feel free to add in the comments below the link to your personal interpretation of the letter “i”!!! Myself I’ll visualize the subject “Ivy House”:

IVY HOUSE

Ivy House
When my mother tried to show me this house on the island of Rügen inside, it was closed, a closed museum on a Wednesday. Years after my mother had died (suicide), I remembered her little wish to show me the interior of this house. I had to search very long in many villages to find that little town Gingst again after ten years. The museum was open now, I stepped inside – and – surprise – it was not forbidden to take photos…

  1. I love ivy covered walls of houses, they just seem so cozy. It took a lot of research on your part to find that house again; how good that you could finally see the inside of it.

  9. It looks so cute, and transports me back to another time, when things moved a little slower. How sad you never managed to visit with your mother, but how lovely you finally made it. Did you feel her with you over your shoulder?

      no INTEREST:
if we have breakfast in the garden, I don’t like to fight with bees on my table. I always tell them: “Please fly to the flowers” – but they are often not very interested to follow my advice …
