It’s sad, that George Harrison, one of my generation, is already dead, he died by brain cancer. Nevertheless his compositions are unforgettable and will be a reminder to this sensible artist forever, for example his tribute to the sun… so I tried to do my very best, fingerpicking my guitar:

I absolutely adore this song. Reminds me of my dad. He used to blast it on the stereo and my sister and I would dance. I miss the music of the 60s and 70s.

I remember hearing this song late one summer night through my bedroom window from a neighbour’s radio, when I was very young. It seemed to reassure me that “growing up” was going to be OK . . . Thank you for the lovely reminder Frizz!

The Beatles, and George Harrison, were such a big part of my life. It makes me sad whenever I hear about his death (and John’s). This photo is lovely, and the guitar is as well. Thank you for the music.

A stunning photo, the bird really looks like a dancer taking a bow and lifting her skirts….and the light….yummy 🙂 The song is also one of my favourites….my husband plays guitar too and is a huge Beatles fan, so we hear this often through the house…..you played it beautifully 🙂

I too am a big George Harrison fan. I thought he had lung cancer, that metastasized to his brain. He was always the low-key Beatle. And I admired him for that. My other favorites are “While My Guitar….” and “Something.” Thanks for your guitar rendition of “Here Come…” brougth a smile to my face….
