Every Tuesday, step by step, I’m walking with my readers from A to Z, last week we had the “EEE”-challenge, so this week we’ll take “F” – I’m sure you’ll also find a a photo, a story or a music title tagged with “F”! Feel free to add in the comments below the link to your personal interpretation of the letter “F”!!! Myself I’ll visualize the term “fleeting”:
FLEETING
Berlin is the city of fleeting movements and moments: in the night Berlin goes dancing: at the river Spree shore, near the Monbijou Park …

– and what about music, tagged “F”?
I tried to finger out on my acoustic guitar the arrangement “FEELINGS” as heard by the street musician Gennadiy Pilch from Ukraine:
and I’ll never forget the feelings of Nina Simone, could cry with her:

Aside from the American Eff word, the first thing I think of is FRIZZ! Would that be a pingback? Looking through my files I see lots of F’s. There’s Fiction, there’s Folk music, the Funny Pages (another of my fledgling (unsuccessful) ventures). I’ll attach the folksong the Ballad of the FFV, which has two F’s and a wonderful story (another sad one, though).

Your depiction of Berlin makes me think it is still like it was pre-WW II.
Lovely rendition of “Feelings,” Frizz. Thank you!

Hi Jamie,
BERLIN = “still like it was pre-WW II…” – do you mean: not watching the dark political foreshadows of future?
P.S.:
I don’t know why, dear Jamie, but I cannot comment at your blog (I often tried, technical problems hidden to my eyes…)

Nina Simone is not a singer, she’s a character, a great human being – so much more than a tool for music business …

I wasn’t thinking she was a singer as much as a feeler. ;-). She had me holding my breath.

I fear the constant rain has blocked my internet from time to time. It has been hard to post or comment. I hope to get my entry to this weeks challenge up in between the summer storms.
