hi Benetta, I tried to play it for you on my guitar: first heard the song 1963 during my first dance school lessons 🙂

Oh, I’m totally in love. If I complete my novel, and it goes to movie, you’re hired to do the music–Red Sails would make a nice repeated theme until the heroine finally buries her Past. A lot of “If’s”, I know.

Shalom Shimon,
yes, if you click on the last picture (4th), you are not in the Netherlands at sundown but very early in the morning in the Mediterranean sea and at flickr, where the photo is stored, you can read after the click:
sunrise-sails of a 4-master, google for STAR FLYER, very early in the morning, 4:46, leaving a harbor in Santorini, Greece, Cyclades, to start a new day …
HOMER: Ἄνδρα μοι ἔννεπε, Μοῦσα, πολύτροπον ὃς μάλα πολλά πλάγχθη, ἐπεί Τροίης πτολίεθρον ἔπερσεν…”
P.S.:
I’ll never have the MONEY to book a week on the STAR FLYER – Odysseus (and many other) made it without money – I’m curious to read your essay about money in the future 🙂

Wonderful shots – and I looked at the book – just after I commented elsewhere that the Art discussion should be in a book, there it is! I like your rambling spirit – it reaches far and wide, yet always remains distinctively YOU.
