The Rolling Stones, like the whole rock ‘n roll, are aggressive, narcissistic, selfish, rebellious, reckless, hard, crushing, perhaps because they felt themselves to be otherwise crushed. The Beatles were in dialogue, audience friendly, accommodating, almost pleased with the world, poetic, lyrical, nearly fallen in love with the world. The Stones expressed the hatred vs. the world.
