When I discovered the gallery titled “turquoise” on http://www.photographyblogger.net/20-terrific-pictures-of-turquoise/, I remembered, that the French photographer Marji Lang made wonderful photo compositions featuring the color “turquoise” when she traveled in India. The following three photos were kindly sent by her to my group BLOG IT!, click on the pictures to enter her galleries on Flickr.com

Turquoise is not an easy paint color to pull off, and I’ve just realized that it’s not easy to spell either! Gorgeous shots, the color is an art in itself.

In our countries, colors are often forbidden for houses. White, yellow, ochre, grey… but no turquoise. The only place to see beautiful colors is on the beach : http://icezine.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/week-36-quadricolor/ Life could be more beautiful if we had more colors, don’t you think ?

Warming photos. I was drawn especially to Marji Lang’s “Home Orchha” photo. Did you notice the serial-like number at the upper right side…”8/195″? I wonder if Lang put that there to mark it as an edition photo to a project?

I thought, it could be the number of the house – but for sure they have Hindi letters – maybe it is for her archive: you can license this one as getty images …
