1954, I heard on the radio a song about an old house and an old man who had become too tired to fix it even further. Now I myself am grown old, but I still play guitar and make uploads to soundcloud, so if time, listen to my fingers:

do you know the movie “Shipping News”? There they pull an old house with ropes to the other end of the town…

indeed, Marina, feeling like living in Athens, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Moscow, Jerusalem, Frankfurt etc. all at the same time – thanks to the internet! We must not move anymore. Or we move every hour – but only our souls are travelling – a very cheap solution – unbelievable for our ancestors!

Yes, Frizz, soul traveling… best there is!

I think our ancestors knew all about it but it took us centuries to realize it! Funny but with the evolution of transportation, we lost our inner travels…

that’s an interesting idea, Marina!!!

= by reading
= by painting
= by singing ballads…
= practicing meditation exercises
= storytelling while eating with friends

Loved listening to your guitar playing just now with my coffee, here in a little country town about 60 miles east of San Francisco, so here you are too. Perfect way to start the day. I really like the thoughts you and Marina posted; so true that the soul travels and that brings happiness.

You play the guitar well and I enjoyed it. Too bad the first house was neglected. It was definitely a beautiful house once.

Enjoyed both you and George playing and singing a song I’ve always loved! That poor old house posted by Pastor Rick is amazing — hard to figure how it stood long enough for the pictures, lol! What neat photos!
