Moving Wind

The wind is a symbol for the joy of move and change. Recently I was inspired by the gallery “ways of the wind” [boston.com bigpicture]. From Texas windmills to kite surfers in Israel, from umbrellas struck by winds in Tokyo to birds in India or “a dead donkey partially covered by the wind-swept sand” in the Sahel belt of Chad: a great visual storytelling. 1. Ah, Fizz – super series, but I adore Rainy in Amsterdam – the look on his face and determination to hold that umbrella aloft … spectacular capture of a moment in time 🙂

  2. Raining cats and dog is my favorite, the yellow boat is quite striking in the rainy backdrop. I had a similar experience in Panama when I got caught in a rainstorm while sitting in a canoe in the middle of a river with 40 others, it was quite the event!

    • “My self-fulfillment comes from helping others get their projects off the ground and running, much like a kite, and I’m the wind…” – applause for your concept! I tried to be the wind some decades long for all those who learned to swim, play guitar, discover the internet …

    • I always wanted to make photos for my blog featuring Frankfurt – now my wife and me decided, to drive to Frankfurt next week – your Frankfurt reports inspired me to do the trip; actually searching for a nice hotel in a little nice town near to Frankfurt, some advice?

Hmmmm I may not be the best person to give suggestions since I’ve only been here since Jan! I did really like Bad Homburg when I had breakfast there which is about 20km away from Frankfurt. Not sure about lodging but I’m sure you and your wife will find something nice. The other place I really enjoyed was along the Rhein. Very pretty!
