Weekly Photo Challenge: UP

Some of us are creating art or architecture, trying to make our eyes look up, or, metaphorically, make our souls not too heavy, so that they can rise up like a bird again, even when / if they had been put down before…

I'm part of Post A Day 2013
P.S.:
my favorite writer G.C. Lichtenberg (1742-1799) once mentioned, that church towers are similar to funnels (upside down) to send prayers to God. Now this architecture in Berlin seems to be a modern version, built to send e-mails to the youtube officials, to block hate-videos uploaded by terrorists. [written actually by myself after a news agency said, that the Boston Marathon Bombers, the two brothers, have been influenced by Islamistic videos …]

  23. Up should really be the only way. After all, “anthropos” Greek word for man, means he who looks up [at least that’s one etymology of 2-3 more that I like!]. Beautiful shot, Frizz!

Frizz, really nice photos. The Sony Center image makes me feel like I’m standing under a gigantic fan. Something I will need during the summer months of oven-baked heat that we have here.
