I’m proud to know Allan G. Smorra, who makes since 25 years his balancing job as an electrician on the cables of the Golden Gate Bridge. He just wrote an article with the topic “A Day In Life”, where he set a link to a youtube video, featuring him and others of the IBEW team of electricians. Breath taking situations there, nothing for me, even my cat would loose balance for sure!

I am sure I’ve seen him gearing up to run the cable. I would love to go to the top one day. Lots of attention on the bridge this week as all those who work in the toll booths were replaced by automatic sensors. They won’t be able to replace Alan so easily!
