dogs are smarter than you think

As I read at brainpickings: dogs are smarter than you think: they can make phone calls, understand other animals (for example birds or cats), have a perfect memory for navigation, hang out their heads cooling the ears and teeth outside the car etc.!

  1. I am convinced that dogs are very smart, and very sensitive too… and that especially these days, humans could learn a lot from them.

  2. I would like to get another big dog . The last one I had was a Cane Corso Mastiff and he ate a poodle..It was horrible . I keep thinking about getting a German Shepard again. My last one was 13 1/2 years old.

    Thanks Frizz

  5. I think dogs have empathy and understanding of a variety of human emotions and can sense distress or sorrow and comfort their people.

  6. I agree, dogs are very smart, we just have to look at some of the services they are used for – helping blind people, hearing impaired people, they are used in airports to sniff out illicit substances, for rescuing people lost in snow drifts – and the list goes on. Dogs are amazing!

  15. Our dog was in tune to our feelings. When I was especially down, she would come over to comfort me.
