Hi bloggers,
for our last B-story challenge we talked about Brazil (3rd Culture Children) and Boston (Myra GB), about “Bad examples” (timkeen40) and a bug story (Imelda), about bulls, bears, billionaires and Bill Gates (keerthikasingaravel) or Bears (Ineke), Berlin (Frizz) or the Bellinger river (Nellibell49); Cardinal Guzman wrote about a beach, a bar, a bartender & a babe in a black & white bikini, melouisef about birds, Isadora about blues, canoe & communications wrote about ballgames and cocomino in Japan about breakfast with bacon, rondomtaliedraai gave me a flashback to the bridge over the river Kwai, Beer, Budgie and Bandolier were thrown in the discussion by 2e0mca, Buddha was mentioned by Stephen Kelly and a homemade blueberry pancake by peters154, Julie Dawn Fox drinks Beirão in Portugal and ledrakenoir is the black sheep of his family in Denmark; deepa219 talked about Bombay and Jane about beer, Fergiemoto wrote about bees and Madhu about The BIRD’S NEST, the centerpiece of the Beijing Olympics, the National Stadium; catbirdinoman mentioned bicycles and a bakery girl etc. – I’m sure you’ll find again an own story or a short reflection tagged with “B”! Feel free to add in the comments the link to your personal interpretation of the letter “B”!!!

  5. Hi Frizz! That buffalo sure looks handsome. I love the juxtaposition of unlikely elements here – it works! 🙂 Here’s my contribution for your B challenge. Mine is slightly more commonplace: Bridge 🙂

    • hello Myra, I like your metaphorical reflection on the topic BRIDGES very much! Thanks for the quotation: “I want my words to build bridges strong enough to walk on. I want them to tower over the world so I can stand up on them and walk to the other side.” (by Markus Zusak, Getting the Girl)

  6. HI Frizz,
That’s an amazing shot! The gold and blue transports me immediately to the Western United States. Thank you for this alphabet challenge! I would like to submit a short reflection called “Befriend the Ides of March.” http://naomibaltuck.wordpress.com/2012/03/09/befriend-the-ides-of-march/

    • surprising party, Naomi!
“… Ides of March party. If you’ve read Shakespeare, you know a soothsayer forewarned Julius Caesar about his assassination on March 15th, telling him to “Beware the Ides of March.” So we will have to commemorate the event: We’ll eat Roman fare, and I am fortunate enough to have musician and storytelling friends who will tell stories (Roman myths) and sing for their supper. I might even rent a temple for the day…”

I have a ton of photos that I have taken over the last year and I am in the middle of reorganizing them then I will back everything up on an external hard drive. I was thinking and thinking what I could do with the B challenge when I came across a black and white of a Bison so I thought I would just go with it and use them because it was easy. In the meantime I am already focusing on photos that have a C connection for next week.
