Very interesting questions you have here about ‘life forms’ and nice discussion on ‘language’ as well – and our nonverbal forms of communication as can be clearly seen in this photograph. As a teacher, I’d probably say that I ask endless questions, and ‘orders’ would have to be rationalized and justified. As a psychologist, I share Stanley Milgram’s Obedience Experiment in class, thus, I have my own reservations about ‘blind obedience’ and would often warn my students about not being critical of directions/instructions/orders.

Just love languages, life learned (that was 4 ‘L’ letter word) me the importance of being able to understand others – before start disagree with other people so it is important to know what they really said and not just think you can guess what they said – one of my favorite philosophers, danish Soren Kierkegaard once said, “For to move people then you must talk il them where they are and not where you wanted them to be “- in my opinion one of the best rules of living …
I’m danish (it was the first learned language) the local jutland dialect which I love (was next learned language) – a large part of my childhood was at the border between Germany and Denmark on both sides which was spoken most german (so this was my next learned language) – my best friend at that time had hungarian father and english mother who was speaking english in their homes (so that was my next learned language) – so I had a dutch girlfriend when her mother spoke I did not think she liked me, but found out that this was the dutch and she liked me I found out (it was the next language I learned) – then I got later a french canadian boyfriend her father was an officer stationed in West Germany, it brought the french into my world (it was the next learned language) – later spanish, norwegian, swedish come to – it’s great to be able to understand what people say and write – a few of them speak or write I not myself – but I understand them, and I like that – it’s cool… 😉 😉 😉

Soren Kierkegaard mit seiner ironischen und selbstironisch Lebenskompetenzen – hat seit vielen Jahren eine große Inspiration – wie haben die Menschen in Süd Schleswig und Nordschleswig auch eine Inspiration – ein turbulentes Vergangenheit zu gegenseitigem Respekt war – ein Verhältnis, das ich auch im Elsass sah, wenn ich dort lebte ein paar Jahre – mit einem Geschichte ist ähnlich wie die deutsch-dänische – wunderbare Menschen, die Respekt für andere zeigen, ohne zu glauben sie das Gesicht verlieren… 😉

der Vergleich mit dem Elsass, auch einem Grenzgebiet, ist interessant: dort war mir der Cartoonist Tomi Ungerer aufgefallen: vielleicht macht gerade das Leben in einem Grenzgebiet fähig zur Distanznahme, zur Ironie und Selbstironie!
