We’ve often been in Venice – our daughter married there her Italian husband etc. – and we enjoyed the streets without cars, the canals, the food, the music. We took a lot of photos there (watch slide show below) and I was inspired to play classical compositions there on my Western steel string guitar, for example J.S. Bach’s prelude in D minor …
I played on my Western Guitar, steel strings, Johann Sebastian Bach BWV 999 praeludium D minor – and found myself lost in history – sitting in VENICE…
wonderful show with images and sound

I am so impressed with the artistry of these photos–the light, the layers, the composition. The music was also very appropriate in setting the mood. Wonderful post!
