This video is just so great! I love everything he recorded. I’m one generation removed from his, but my dad (as a young man) got to see him live several times. I also vividly remember seeing him on live TV in the mid-60s on the Ed Sullivan show. As a jazz musician myself, it’s one of those memories that I cherish.

You have hit a soft spot with this one, Firzz. My husband,who is a musician, introduced to Louis Armstrong when we first met in 1963. From the first, I thought he was the best.
