    • hi Francine,
when I discovered your replica of the “Funeral Train of Abraham Lincoln 1865” I had a memory flashback to my childhood: on one Xmas evening I got replicas in that size too, metal; you can’t buy this nowadays in toys shops …

    • hi Myra,
Yamamoto Flores is a good photographer and I like all the three photos and topics and quotations – especially the last one “TRANSCENDENCE” (maybe because I’m old?):
“It is different for us mortals. We are the ones who become old and grey. We are the ones who become worn at the seams and disappear. But not our dreams. They can live on in other people even after we have gone.” [Jostein Gaarder, The Solitaire Mystery] P.S.: I read some philosophical books of Jostein Gaarder too – in German language …

I have been stuck in traffic like that on many occasions. So glad I don’t own a car anymore. Here is my T for the Thames.

  15. Funny, when I saw that the challenge was for “T”…I automatically thought of an image of traffic — much like the photo that greeted me at the start of this blog post.

  19. Love this traffic photo on that bridge. Somehow, traffic in a major metropolitan area always seems more intense on a major bridge.

  35. Ugh! Cannot stand being stuck bumper to bumper. Reminds me of my long, arduous route homeward bound, although I do not have a beautiful antique bridge like yours to gaze at while stalled in traffic. Great shot! Here’s mine:
