Weekly Photo Challenge: Regret

I’m sure my cat is regretting, that in the meantime (this is an old photo) all goldfishes are gone. She doesn’t ask herself, why they have gone …

      you bought some food,
that was lumpy and tasted awful?
indeed, that’s a reason to regret.
maybe the goldfishes usually taste like this?
      I never tried to judge,
but the cat seemed to be satisfied …

  11. I wondered whether or not cats do this. I have seen it in cartoons so I was curious.
Hhahaahah .. the cat is porbably frustrated trying to catch them.
Nice photo for the challenge. I like it a lot.

you once had to regret not taking the lens cap off in a decisive moment?
      often a typical photographer’s failure 🙂

      Like

      • Once? Oh, no. Many times! Less so lately. but that’s not because I’m better. The newer auto-focus technology can’t focus with a lens cap on 😉 These days, my more frequent mistake is leaving it in shutter priority. When I last took it during bright daylight, shutter speed set at the absolutely max… same result.

  13. Great stuff! I better get on posting mine for the week, it’s a good theme! The kitty and fish are so cute… I’ve had cats my whole life and fish just a few times… this is typical! 🙂

  14. This is WAY too funny as an expression of REGRET! This poor kitty is the very image of frustration! And what IS it with those wooden reindeer? They look as if they regret not being able to swim, as well! And I love the fishes playground equipment. Does the cat regret not having some like it?

yes, very often! the goldfishes tried to swim very deep – during daylight they took care; they forgot their sorrows in the dark night: always THE chance for my cat: 3 a.m.!
she was satisfied and proud about 5.40 a.m. just after sunrise …

I don’t have a cat any more; but they are so classically dominate when you stand back and view the situation. The adage; dogs have masters, cats have staff, is so true.
    Are you buying more fish???

Your Emily is lovely and it’s got me thinking of our ‘long ago’ Fluffy!

She was regal and should have maybe had a better name. She was special but had had to fight for her place. She was like animals in Africa tend to be; just there!

Now I think back, I feel sad!
You have made me sad tonight.
