Weekly Photo Challenge no. 39: HIDDEN – our cat EMILY got the blues because we got visitors with a big bad dog. Unfortunately the dog’s name was “Emily” too, therefore the situation ran out of control and we all became confused. To hide away seemed to be the only clever decision. To escape is one of the most distinguished behaviors! And also it is very stylish and congenial to the ruling mainstream mood, to hide behind a big, big BLUES book …

feel free to add in the comments the link to your own interpretation of this week’s topic HIDDEN
of course CATs have many different strategies, analyze the youtube video, cat vs. dog
remember: the white dressed is always the good one, the black is the devil one!
P.S.:
on Halloween, Monday 31. Oct, I’ll celebrate my yearly birthday party (aged 66 now) – and unfortunately my cat Emily (found in Italy) again will be confronted with that dangerous dog Emily (saved from Greece). Maybe we’ll call her by the old name Amelia (Italian, I hope she remembers) – the dog should follow to orders: EMILLIÓS!!!

P.S.:
don’t be ashamed if you HIDE AWAY – the strategy to HIDE AWAY can be a great pleasure: listen to Freddie King!!!
The kitty looks like he owns the world. Love it!

do you know that method in psychology TCI = theme centered interaction?
we are doing something similar like that, if we are talking here about strategies of hiding.
of course animals have their different strategies of hiding, camouflage, mimikry;
the army (not amusing for the enemies) has some evil strategies too – I have to mention the LANDMINEs problem.
but also every human being has some experiences with complicated strategies of hiding.
to dress fine, to show no facial emotions is the simple level.
maybe you can follow me, if I say:
IF ONE CANNOT HIDE OR ESCAPE
HE HAS TO CHOOSE THE INNER EMIGRATION:
HE DEVELOPS SCHIZOPHRENIA.
that at least would be a field for
TCI psycho-therapy (Rogers)
or similar methods …

What a wonderful cat photo!
I have a friend who called her cat Heidi. At least I thought it was Heidi, but when I babysat it for a week and it only came out of its hiding spot to eat, I realized that its name was Hidey.

and (funny):
