1Manhattan

the 3 photos via flickr.com by Frizztext
I watched people walking through the pouring rain in Manhattan, sitting dry on the stairs of the New York Public Library, 42nd Street. Suddenly the door opened behind me and a lady walked down to join the crowd on the boardwalk. It was a hard rain. Some people put plastic bags over their heads, protecting themselves, others ran into small shops, this woman left aristocratically with an English-style umbrella the Library, walking like a goddess, provoking a man to hesitate. Some months later several painters asked me, if I would give permission to paint the situation, they had found via google on my flickr photostream

Honeymooners
I stopped my car, driving to Liberchies, Belgium, the Django-Reinhardt-Festival had to wait; this was my first shot, taken with a digital camera, after our analog Minolta with 36mm KODAK-film had been demolished. This image of the unequal couple has been the first ever on the display of my brand new digital Canon Power Shot A_700. The two honeymooners, looking out of a window in the evening, they maybe wanted to take a walk to the nearby guitar-festival too (like me), but they were badly fenced in…

risky
I looked to the sky and there I saw the balloon coming surprisingly near to the peak of the Neptune sculpture in my hometown. I had to grab my camera very fast out of the bag not to miss the climax of the situation. Looking to the sky, trying to find a dramatic point of view, I nearly trampled down a little dog crossing my odd path on the boardwalk.

You captured the woman perfectly… she looks like she might be a goddess. The man turning his head to look at her kinda confirms your premise. All are great photos!

I love the first photograph. It just says a lot even without the words. It looks like an ad for something.

The second one’s quirky and the third one is interesting. Good shots all in all. =)

  14. The photo of the woman resonates elegance. It is no surprise that this man was stopped in hs tracks. To view her from behind is beautiful. I can just imagine her beauty in front.
All the photos are outstanding but the first one wins my vote.
    Well done ..

  17. Three great shots. Proving me right in not bothering to take a picture to suit the prompt because so many people do it so much better.
