Amy Winehouse tribute by Nina Nyembwe

photo and video by Frizztext
We had a nice evening with Nina Nyembwe (vocal), Lutz Deterra (keyboard) and Michael Hügel (saxophone);
Nina also performed with Herbert Grönemeyer or Wolf Codera and many others …

view the video (above, my youtube channel “frizzguitar”): Nina performing “VALERY” by (so sorry she left us:) Amy Winehouse

once my daughter tried to do a similar tribute (in my bureau with friends: Doro with saxophone, Theo on drums, me on guitar – and hairless Klaas but he is hesitating; in the meantime all my goldfishes are dead, Amy too):

  1. Enjoyed starting my day with your tribute. Like the black and white.
    Rich sounds and scene. Feel like I was there.
    A sad loss, so young.

    • Great music Frizztext, I’m so glad that I discovered your site. I really like your b/w videos, they are much more expressive this way.

      Thanks a lot and have a great weekend!

  6. Frizz, you are the Man!! This is the second time I’ve seen you and your daughter perform and it only gets better. What a great song and a lovely voice. The whole group was on target. It must be nice to be just hanging around jammin at home with family and friends.

  7. Interesting contrast shot. 😉 Great tribute for Amy TY!

  8. Such a great talent lost when Amy Whinehouse died. I loved her singing. Enjoyed both videos very much.
    Nice post. Thank you.

    Hi, lovely arrangements for ‘Valerie’ on both video clips, really enjoyed listening to them. Thank you for the pingback and putting up the live vid, she is sorely missed and what can I say but a tradegy that happened to one of the best artists of recent years. Very sad. Imogen.

Hearing from you makes my day!
