Weekly Photo Challenge: Morning

“Early in the morning, on my way to school …” – I remember these song lyrics shouted by Tina Turner very well – actually I can’t find the song on youtube, but daily it gives me the energy, to start into the great wide open morning (I have stored the track on my mp3-player). Headphones on, and they day begins. Usually buying fresh bread (rolls, “Brötchen”) in the bakery. An hour before my cat Emily usually had stared angrily at me, waiting instantly, that I would wake up at last to open immediately the garden door for her first morning hunt. Because she kindly wants to serve some mouse at breakfast to me, after guarding bravely my dreams at the end of my bed the whole night long. So, when I’m on my feet at last, ate my bread, talked with my wife, I begin to write my daily sermon. Or play guitar. Or make some photos. Or watch how Mr. Bean begins his day. Of course he is never organized on an optimal level. Always in a hurry. Always near a catastrophe. Do you know the video clip, a precise document how difficult it can be, if you leave your bed a little bit too late?

    • and in U.K. they like to use mini cars – Mr. Bean has a difficult aim – he is not sitting in a Mercedes, which is driving behind him for a while!
my wife Barbara demonstrates how tiny automobiles can be (we also do not have money to buy a large Mercedes):

    • hi cocomino, you help me to understand Japan. Not only the suffering after earthquake, tsunami, nuclear disaster near Fukushima – but the nice things as well: you know Mr. Bean or: that a Volkswagen is used as a garden cafe – and that we are using both skype (thanks for calling) and twitter, flickr and wordpress. you have two children – the same me. we both try to write in a strange language – English. it seems others can understand, what we are writing 🙂 so I can learn, that there is many we have similar together. only your morning is not in the same moment as my morning!

  10. That’s a really cool feline! I’ve had three, all with entirely different personalities, of course. Murphy, a Sacred Birman, used to get up in bed, lie on my chest and gaze at me with his big, blue eyes.

McDuff, our present cat, just rolls around on the floor when we get up, to show how happy he is that we’re up I guess. He’s an indoor cat.
