Sitting on my garden bench in Germany I remember two songs I’ve once heard by EmmyLou Harris. Title? Something like “Lonesome Blues” (1). Couldn’t find it on youtube. But found another song, featuring Emmylou Harris together with Steve Earl: http://youtu.be/Rr2IY8q687I – my second tribute to Emmylou Harris: the old gospel “WAYFARING STRANGER” – found that on youtube (next to many versions of other artists): http://youtu.be/SMUjF6RUK3I
P.S.: the first instrumental is played related to the “fingerstyle” method, the second track on my silvery Dobro is played (right hand) with a plectrum / pick, no fingers used; what sounds better?
